Crosslands employs a small team of full and part time staff who are carefully selected for their individual skills, but more importantly for their caring and loving nature towards animals.
Julie & Mike Jones
Julie & Mike have owned Crosslands since 2001. They made many modifications to the existing kennel block including new roofing, new exterior walls in the kennel runs, improved heating system, new isolation kennels and new perimeter fencing. They also landscaped the paddock areas and created car parking facilities for the customers.
In 2009 they decided to expand and build an extension to the existing kennels to include 11 new kennels and a brand new grooming parlour. Along with the new extension block, Crosslands Hydrotherapy Centre was established in 2009. Prior to opening the centre, Mike & Julie both completed accredited courses at the Hawksmoor Hydrotherapy training centre, gaining a certificate in Hydrotherapy.
Julie and Mike have five Golden Retrievers which span 3 generations and a Newfoundland. They have bred 3 litters of Golden Retreiver puppies, most going to friends and family.

Sarah Sullivan
Sarah joined Crosslands in 2004. She has completed accredited courses at Hawksmoor and gained a certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy. As grooming supervisor, Sarah divides her time between the hydrotherapy centre and the grooming parlour. Sarah also helps out in the kennels when needed and helps with the administration if she has time!
Sarah has two Golden Retrievers, Lizzie and Digger, who are keen swimmers at the hydrotherapy centre.
Joanne Edwards
Joanne joined Crosslands in 2009 and is dedicated to looking after the dogs during their stay in the kennels.
Jo has a number of years experience of working with animals having previously worked in a veterinary surgery for 8 years and has worked at a number of kennels in the past.
She also helps out occassionally in the grooming parlour and helps to manage the kennel bookings.
Crosslands also employs part time staff to help out at weekends and during busy periods
