Vaccinations
We do not insist that your dog has the kennel cough innoculation in order to stay with us however if you wish your dog to have this particular innoculation, most manufacturers guidelines state this must be done 10-14 days before your dog is due into kennels.
Upon arrival at Crosslands you will be asked to produce your dogs up-to-date vaccination certificate as proof that your dog has had its required annual innoculations.
Medication
If your dog is on medication, we are happy to administer this during his/her stay at the kennels.
Please make the staff aware of any injuries, ongoing problems or behavioural problems your dog may suffer from. We cannot accept dogs which are on medication for infectious diseases.
On arrival you will need to inform the staff of the medication you have brought, clearly labelled with the dogs name. You will be asked to sign a medication form stating the name of the medication, the correct dosage, and the reason for medication. Please ensure you bring enough for the duration of your dogs stay. We are happy to administer insulin injections for diabetic dogs; we will need precise instruction on diet/units required per day.
Bookings
If you wish to book a kennel for your dog to stay at Crosslands, you can either telephone or email us with your required dates. Bookings made over the phone must be confirmed in writing no later than 4 weeks before your arrival date. Email bookings will be treated as a confirmed booking and please ensure that you receive a return email from ourselves to confirm we have received your request.

Busy periods e.g annual school holidays & bank holidays normally book up very quickly, so please book your dogs kennel in plenty of time to avoid disappointment. We do operate a waiting list when we are fully booked for these busy periods; should you be on our waiting list we will only contact you if a kennel becomes available for your required dates.
Crosslands will require a deposit from all new customers. Once you have visited Crosslands and are placed on our customer database and have signed our terms and conditions, we do not require a deposit for future visits, however we still operate a written confirmation policy.
Cancellations
Cancellations made without the required 4 weeks notice before your arrival date will be charged at £6 per day per kennel. All cancellations must be provided in writing.
Charges
Please contact us for our price list.
Charges are per day with the following exceptions:
- Dogs brought into kennels between 6:00pm & 6:30pm will not be charged for on that day.
- Dogs collected from kennels between 8:30am & 10:00am will not be charged for on that day.
Collection service
We operate a collection/delivery service in the local area. This will need to be pre-arranged with ourselves. Should you require this service please arrange this when booking your dog into kennels.
All charges are to be paid in full when collecting your dog. We accept cash, cheque, credit/debit cards for payment. N.B There is an additional 2.5% charge when paying with a credit card.
